early 20th. century passageway lamp

ITEM No.

2895

An attractive Early 20th. Century Brass Ship's Passageway Lamp, which was originally manufactured to be fuelled by gas, but has now been converted to electricity, which makes it a useful lamp to add to any room with a Nautical Theme. It currently has a "flicker bulb" fitted, which gives an effective glow, similar to a flame, which is reflected outward by the chromed reflector plate behind.  A regular bulb could obviously be used, if brighter lighting is prefered. It stands 16.5ins. high, by 10ins. wide, and is 5ins. deep.
