A large Naval Silk, made as a momento for sailors serving in the China Seas, with a padded central panel showing their ship - "H.M.S. Amphitrite", and dated 1902 - 1905. The silk is in excellent condition, with no signs of fading, moth or damp, and is set in a heavy ornate gilt frame. It has been hanging in a family home for decades, so is fresh on the market.  The frame measures 36ins. wide, and 35ins. high, and the silk measures 27ins. wide and 26ins. high.
