About us

We are a married couple who both share a love of Maritime History, and have been keen collectors of anything Nautical for quite a number of years. As with most collectors, this passion can take over a home very easily, so we gradually became involved in Dealing.

It started with selling one item to make room for another, better one, and progressed to trading at Antiques Fairs. As our stock expanded, and we obtained larger and larger items, not to mention, heavier ones, it became difficult to know what to transport to these Fairs!

We were based at The Dolphin Quay Antiques Centre, Emsworth, Hants. for seven years, but, sadly, the Centre has now closed. After looking for suitable new premises, we have recently moved to The Bourne Mill Antiques Centre, Farnham, Surrey, where we will continue to hunt out all kinds of Maritime Nostalgia, to be able to stock a varied selection of Ships' Wheels, Lamps, Navigational Instruments, Telescopes, Binoculars, Bells, Binnacles, both small and large, cabinets full of interesting things from personal objects to Presentation pieces, Swords, Guns, China,  Marine Prints, some signed Limited Editions, etc.

When visiting The Bourne Mill Antiques Centre, you will be entering a very calm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where the staff will help and advise, but not hassle you. There's a cozy Tea Room, which serves a tempting selection of home-made cakes, teas, coffees, soft drinks and light lunches, so that you can easily while a few hours away, happily wandering around the maze of corridors and rooms.

When you visit, don't forget to say "Hi!" , and mention that you've seen this Site. It may not be "Swish", but we hope it gives you a taste of what you can expect to find when you come to see our range of Maritime Nostalgia.

We look forward to seeing you! - Julie and Terry.
